Sunshine on a winter's day

Happy Monday petals!! I hope the weekend was bliss for you!! There was no rain here and I took a delightful walk along the esplanade while my daughter was at drama class. The sun glistened like a diamond across the water making it look like the finest silks billowing in the wind. It was so quiet and peaceful, I could have happily sat there all day! Now, it's a new week..what lies ahead for us all!?! I hope happiness and sunshine!! Wish you a wonderful time sweeties!!

All flowers in time bend towards the Sun

Good day babydolls! How are you? I hope well. Remember when I said I had been out basking in the sunshine some time ago, well these are the photos that were taken. My husband, baby Noémie (Saffron was at school) and I were walking along and the light was amazing here, so I had to stop and sit in it (more random times I enjoy). I'm glad I did as since then it's been rainy and gray. We have to seize the day and take the good times when we are given them..so I did :) I hope you have a wonderful day & the sun shines for you wherever you may be, even if it's just in your heart!!

I was smiling over at an older lady that stopped and watched what we were doing, she liked my dress :) Bless her. I just think sunshine makes others happy!! So, why not bring some sunshine to others!?! See you on Twitter, Tumblr, or Facebook until next time dollfaces!

Randomness = Happiness!

Happy Monday beauties!! I hope the weekend faired well for you! The wind and rain rattled on here, so a lovely time was spent inside doing random things. Randomness, I do love it. Random faces, places, moments of unexpected happiness, they are what I thrive on and what makes life fun at times. Words of the song  'Let go your heart, let go your head & feel it now'...how often we hold it all inside and never take the time to really feel things because we think too much. It's nice for these unexpected moments to come along and knock us off our feet, reminds us how alive we really are & need to appreciate that. Not all random moments are great ones, I admit, but I do love to savour them when they are!!  Have a marvellous Monday dear flowers!! Welcome new readers/friends...lovely to meet you...you may also join my Twitter or Facebook as I tend to babble a bit on there too & for those that have asked, I resurrected my Bloglovin' page, so you can follow from there to make it easier for you!

Love to you all, Take Good Care

The Decadent Crazy Horse

Musique: Crazy Visuals

Hiya baby dolls!! Hope your week is fairing well so far!?! I've had these images for a while now and thought to share them!! I adore Crazy Horse and could happily sit in it's beauty forever. Going for more than sixty years, where the original opened in Paris, France. Decades of delightful dancing dames, this classic cabaret is still sizzling, enticing people far and wide. The Crazy Horse continues with the greatest authentic burlesque show on earth. These delightful pieces below were captured by famous fashion designer and artist, Antoine Kruk, in his book titled Crazy. The illustrations depict an intimate view of the dancers through his experiences with them backstage as costume designer. "Crazy Horse has become a part of Parisian identity, mixing sophistication and of course very sensual performances from the dancers," tells Kruk.

Visually, the book is as sensual as the Crazy Horse reputation! The red velvet cover with silver ink and page edges reflects that sexy image of the symbolic Parisian cabaret. "A boudoir kind of spirit even before you open it," describes Kruk. As you do open the book, the unique preface seduces you with “double pages covered by kisses from the girls," states Kruk with excitement, "I decided that this would be the best introduction!". Filled with one hundred beautiful watercolors by Kruk, the illustrations are divided into three chapters "following the life of a Crazy Horse girl, before, after and during the show," elaborates Kruk. I also decided to treat my drawings in two different styles, as everybody understands that an artist always has two faces. I wanted to show the girls in their intimacy, with fun, heart, and humanity, revealing a part of their everyday life and occupation."

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and you're having a decadent week so far!!
