Wish wish wish list...

Happy Friday love hearts! I hope your week has gone well!?! I was here, there and everywhere as usual and happy to see another Friday. I wasn't going to do another one of these so soon after the last, but lately I've been finding lots of things that I like, so wanted to share them. A big hello to all my new dolls here too :) I hope you enjoy & have a wonderful weekend!

Well, I started off wanting these French cats eye glasses with Aurora rhinestones and a Phoenix design above here. But, since their vintage and apparently very rare, I sourced myself some snazzy alternatives. You can find these beauties from a company called A-Morir. And they make shades to razzle and dazzle with their one of a kind pieces. I think their beautiful and adore these first shades...I could wear them with anything in my wardrobe. I appreciate their unique quality and appreciation to detail and flair. You'd definitely stand out for the right reasons wearing these :)

For a long time now, I've been obsessed with bebaroque tights, I can never decide which item of theirs I enjoy most. Love the idea of having gorgeous crystals and designs on my tights. I love my tights and have quite a collection, I wouldn't mind adding any of these to it as well. Adds a bit of glamour to the legs, one could just be dressed casually and still look elegant in a pair of these. When I make my millions, I'll buy everything they have in stock ;) Wonderful company!

Below: Lady Pearl tights

A few darling garments that I'd be ever so cheery to find in my wardrobe sometime :)

Like walking around with a garden all day long....am so so in love with this dress above!!

And this gorgeous piece here, I love it's tailoring and fabric of course :)))

The colour combination and refined look of this is marvellous to me eyes :)

And I want to make and eat these yummy treats...while I wear all the gorgeous frocks above of course ; )

And lastly I wish for kind words to sooth the soul!

Dancing Doll!

Hello babydolls! What's shakin'!?! Hope all is peachy keen in your worlds. I stopped at the McLean Museum & Art Gallery as the sun was shining so bright in the courtyard, it was really lovely. I had been doing some research on the building after posting about it here and have since discovered that there were meetings held here for a Philosophical Society and one of the guests who lectured here was one of my favourite writers, Oscar Wilde. So, I had to return to it and decided to take some pictures outside as the sun was glorious. The lectures were on cultural and scientific subjects & started in 1861. And since 1876, they have been held each Autumn and Winter. Many famous figures have lectured here such as Lord Kelvin, Professor Joule and of course Oscar Wilde. I really wish I had been around back then to see Oscar Wilde give a lecture, that would have been most fascinating. But, just knowing he was around here is good enough for me.   And if you're wondering if I really was dancing in this courtyard...of course I was ; ) A dance during the day keeps the stress away! I highly recommend it. If you wish to see a picture of the whole building itself, see my post here

Have a gorgeous day!

Autumnal Things

I love autumn...it's my favourite time on year. For me it's like this awakening happens...the atmosphere changes...the air...the ground...the trees...all change from these stagnant colours and burst forth into a symphony of life and expression. As if to give their best performance before crawling back to the musky depths of the earth to lay in dreams for the winter months. The bright intense sun that stretches over the trees so their golden leaves look like precious jewels to pluck and wear in one's tresses of hair. Strolls in the park, kicking up the leaves, so they flurry around oneself like butterflies. The musky scent that fills the lungs and hypnotizes your senses, so you stay longer in the wilderness than you intended. Walks hand in hand with the one you hold dear & stopping for a secret kiss that you think no one notices...but nature notices everything. The cool textured touch as your fingers glide over the bark of trees as you wander deeper and deeper into nature's bliss. Ahhh...I could go on for ages, but I'll stop there & wish you a wonderful Monday beauties!!

To the Gallery

Hello sweet dolls! The week is almost over, feels like it's going fast for me. The weather has been a bit up and down, one minute sunny, the next rain...I slid on the pavement the other day like it was a slip and slide or I was playing baseball, not as fun though. But, I laughed it through :) These are some photos from some weeks ago when it was my birthday. I at the last minute decided to go to the National Gallery in Edinburgh to see the 'Van Gogh to Kadinsky Symbolist Landscape in Europe 188-1910' exhibition, which I loved. But, I always love going to art galleries, so I would say that ;) hehe.  At the bottom is one of my favourites that I seen, just because of the blue colour, but there were so many that I enjoyed. I also went to the other art museum next to it as well. I jotted down a mass of favourites that I'll share with you in other posts :) Edinburgh is one of my favourite places in Scotland. The sun was shining compared to the rain I left on my side of Scotland. I always love strolling up the hills to the older parts of the city right down to the newer spots. It's filled to the brim with rich history and culture. You can hear the bagpipes playing as soon as you get into the city. Walking along the cobblestones here and there is wonderful. I never tire of visiting. I'll go back sometime & do a proper tour for you, this is just my walk to the gallery :) Wish you all a wonderful day & weekend to come!!

Lots of loves

{View across to the boats and road crossing from the museum, all this area used to be completely gone before they made way for the park and travel ways, learned that from a painting in the museum.}

Make a difference...A little goes a long way!

Good Monday wonders! I hope your weekend was marvellous...I spent mine by the brisk shores of Loch Lomond, watching the ducks chase one another and the water crash over the rocks. I adore Loch Lomond most at this time of year, the leaves turn golden and the hills shine in the light like diamonds. The air is brisk and clear, rushing through the lungs to clear away the congestions of busy life. I love how nature can revive one's self in just a matter of moments. Which made me think of how or what we give to others we may come in contact with, either in person or through our blogs. Do we leave people feeling great or worse than when they came!?! Sometimes I find the blogging world just as selfish and tiresome as the everyday world. We leave notes of 'follow me' or harsh words because we do not like the outfit someone has chosen. Have we really become such heartless & foul creatures!?! Surely not, I hope. We should in turn see that how we treat others sets the pace for how they might treat someone else. We're all connected, we can easily make another's world better from a smile or kind word. We can easily keep this blogging world set apart from the outside world and not tear each other down for shallow reasons, we can start a revolution. Because what we do, does make a difference and I for one will not follow the rest, but live each day as if what I do effects someone else. Imagine what the world would become if all of us did just that....Have a wonderful Monday sunshines!!

xoxo
